It's a very simple policy.
I will never knowingly give out, sell, or rent any information about a guest to Harry's Black Hole to anyone (except as shown in the 'Guest Book').

How do you prevent someone from subscribing someone else to a list? What is a verification message? The first time someone joins Harry's Joke list, they will be sent a verification (welcome) message. This allows me to verify that the member can receive mail, and to prevent someone from maliciously adding someone else to a list.
